Anais Lee (Hsin Yao Lee 李星瑤) is a nature-inspired artist, writer, and tarot reader.

Her work is deeply influenced by the beauty of nature, particularly the lives of animals and plants. Using colored pencils and mixed media, she brings the vitality of the natural world to life through delicate and expressive illustrations.

Anais’s art has gained international recognition, with her illustrations licensed by renowned stationery and greeting card brands, including Design House Greetings, Hallmark, Minted.com, and Creative Teaching Press. She has also collaborated with publishers on book illustration projects.

She is the author of the bestselling book The Basics of Colored Pencils: A Comprehensive Guide to Tools, Techniques, and Natural-Style Drawing (published by Delight Press, Taiwan), a trusted resource for many colored pencil enthusiasts.

Born in Taiwan, Anais spent 20 years in the United States before returning to her homeland, where she now resides in a cozy apartment overlooking lush green mountains. She shares her life with her dog, Ollie. Beyond her artistic pursuits, she enjoys crafting, writing, reading, tarot, cooking, and taking nature walks—all of which continually inspire her creativity and teaching.
