I am an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, writer, and animal lover. I was born in Taiwan–a beautiful small island nation in East Asia where I received traditional art training in college. Years later, I studied graphic design at a school in the U.S., after which I began my creative career as a graphic designer.
My true passion has always been drawing and illustration. In 2010, I moved to New York City to pursue illustration and surface design full-time. I have illustrated for children’s and adult’s books, greeting cards, stationery, posters, and various products. I’ve also written and illustrated my own book which was published in Taiwan.
I work in both digital and traditional media, mainly using Adobe Illustrator and colored pencil. Inspired by the love for color, typography, animals and nature, My portfolio features sweet animals, flora, patterns, and hand-lettered messages.
I am also an entrepreneur. I started an illustration-focused blog and online school which I write and teach in Chinese Mandarine.
In my leisure time, I like to take a walk with my dog Punchy, read books, try new food, visit museums and gardens, and explore New York City.
My mission is to create art and products that warm the heart and soul. I am available for licensing opportunities and commissions. If you’re interested in working with me or purchasing my art, I’d love to hear from you!
